New York-based Gillie and Marc's, The Last Three, was installed in the heart of New York City March 2018, and depicts Najin, Fatu and Sudan, the latter of which was the last male Northern White Rhino that has since passed. The sculpture raises critical awareness and funds needed to protect the last Northern White Rhinos.
A smaller version of Gillie and Marc’s sculpture is installed in Salt Lake City, echoing the same important message. With only two Northern White Rhinos alive, both female, conservation is more urgent than ever, if not already too late. Gillie and Marc use their work to raise awareness for the rarest animal species in the world.
