J. Steven Price is founder and president of Price Real Estate (PRE). He owns, develops, and manages over 5 million square feet of industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and urban core adaptive reuse buildings. The portfolio consists of 120+ local, regional, national, and international tenants in economic clusters in bio and life science, aerospace and defense, automotive, food grade facilities, transportation, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce, and outdoor recreation sectors.

In Salt Lake City’s urban core, PRE owns historic buildings and projects that have been revitalized through adaptive reuse renovation in most of the city’s districts. They are the home to many small and local businesses thriving in the community.

Within the community, Steven currently serves on the Organizing Committee for the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, as well as chair of the Arts & Culture Committee for the 2034 Winter Games. He serves as a member of the Community Board of directors of U Health System, KUER Advisory Board, and Red Butte Garden Board. He also serves as a board member for EDCUtah, World Trade Center Utah, Utah Sports Commission, and the John and Marcia Price Family Foundation.

In December 2024, after Salt Lake City was awarded the 2034 Olympic Winter Games, Steven’s service ended as governing board member, finance and audit and bid committee member for the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the 2030/2034 Winter Olympic Games. Steven notably served 11 years as a University of Utah Board Trustee and eight years on the SLC International Airport Board. Additionally, Steven an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 1996 and YPO Gold (formerly known as the Utah World Presidents Organization) since 2013.

Steven’s commitment to the community goes beyond his board service, calling upon his passion for public art. Understanding the vibrancy, inspiration, and economic impact art has on the community, he has personally invested in over a dozen public art installations throughout Salt Lake County, with many more planned. Steven also advocates for the outdoors, especially the Wasatch Front trail system, which he is working on to expand and enhance quality of life.

Steven resides in Salt Lake City with his wife Tiffanie and has five children, two stepchildren and four grandchildren.
