This installation unknowingly began when Steven Price salvaged three 20-foot, 8-ton historic gantry beams, dating back to 1883, that were part of the Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) Locomotive Shop in Salt Lake City (currently UTA Frontline headquarters complex).
The Craven holds a free-moving key in its beak, creating a unique piece of public art, adding vibrancy to the city. Michael partnered with Adonis Bronze, a Utah-based foundry, to bring the Craven to life.
