Trevor Dahl is a visual artist, painter, and muralist known for his imaginative, symbol-rich style that blends a whimsical aesthetic with archetypal themes. A self-taught artist with a background in graphic design, Dahl works across murals, illustration, and fine art, taking inspiration from mythology, history, psychology, popular culture, and the unconscious mind via dream imagery.
His work is often directly improvised, reflecting an interest in mental states and stream-of-consciousness. Themes of unity, interconnectedness, acceptance, and the elasticity of being emerge through a wide variety of subjects and mediums. His large-scale public artworks invite viewers of all ages to connect with nature, culture, and meaning through color, whimsy, and storytelling.
In public art projects, Dahl’s intention is to create memorable, relevant imagery that brings optimism, play, humor, and soulfulness to shared spaces. His murals range from expansive improvisational doodles to highly intentional commentaries on culture and civic life, created for public and private clients across Utah and beyond.
Before his immersion into studio painting and public art, Dahl spent a decade in graphic design, honing a foundation in design thinking through branding, UX, web, and animation. Through Good Happy Stuff, he continues to develop a brand that brings his playful, human-centered artwork into collaborations, public projects, merchandise, and retail ventures.
Trevor Dahl’s artistic journey is not merely an expression of self but a shared exploration of the universal human experience — a visual invitation for viewers to find solace, acceptance, and revelation within the intricate tapestry of their own inner landscapes. https://www.goodhappystuff.com/
