Partnering with Utah-based Trisquare Fabrication, Steven Price commissioned the custom fabrication of nine shipping containers, which are installed throughout Salt lake County.
Eight pieces, titled Conex, are sections of shipping containers hung on the exterior walls of Price Real Estate developments. The ninth and final piece, titled Trade Balance, is a 25,000-pound, 40-foot-long shipping container towering in the air at and angle, 39-feet at the highest point and 13-feet at the lowest.
These nine pieces create Utah's largest above-ground art installation. Steven found inspiration for this installation after seeing similar art during visits to Bogota, Colombia and Denver, Colorado.
